This publication is the result of a collaborative partnership between Minjerribah Moorgumpin Elders-in-Council (MMEIC), The Queensland Herbarium (Environmental Protection Agency) and Consolidated Rutile Limited. 

First published in in 2009, the book is a comprehensive 439 page publication incorporating and showcasing Cultural and Scientific knowledge.

This book is a great educational tool to learn about the bush tucker plants of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) and their specific uses. Many of the plants are also present throughout the nearby mainland and other Islands in South East Queensland. 

Note: MMEIC have established a Bush Tucker Trail at Terra Bulla Luemeah Conservation Reserve (on Minjerribah). Each Bush tucker plant is marked and cross referenced to a page in this book.
