Minjerribah Moorgumpin Aboriginal Elders in Council

Who are the Elders-in-Council?

Elders of the Elders-in-Council are the descendants of the traditional owners of the land.

The majority of the Aboriginal families lived at the Myora Mission during this period, hence, as the remaining Elders and custodians of the knowledge and traditions of Minjerribah and Moorgumpin they strive to hand on their Aboriginal knowledge of culture by providing, through promotional and  educational awareness of their existence - depicting Aboriginal lifestyle.
