Minjerribah Moorgumpin Aboriginal Elders in Council
MMEIC Building
MMEIC have established a mini bush tucker trail in the grounds of our office building at 2 Mitchell Crescent, Dunwich.
This Bush Tucker Trail is the proto type for the Trail being developed at Terra Bulla Luemeah Conservation Reserve.
Each Bush tucker plant is marked and cross referenced to a page in the following book:
K. Stephens & D Sharp (2009). The Flora of North Stradbroke Island. Brisbane: queensland Herbarium, environmantal protection Agency.
This publication is the result of a co-operativepartnership between Consolidated rutile Limited, Queensland herbarium EPA, and the Minjerribah Moorgumpin Elders-in-Council.
This book is a great educational tool to learn about the bush tucker plants of Minjerribah and their specific uses.
