Invite You To Our

Jandai Language Dictionary Book Launch

At: 2 Mitchell Crescent, Dunwich

On: Saturday: 12th November, 2011.

11am to 2pm

Foreword from Aunty Marg

As a young girl, growing up on Myora Mission, the Jandai Language was taught to us by two grannies. I am the sole survivor from a group of five who gathered every morning to be taught the language, and that was seventy five years ago. With historical language records written by visitors to the Island, the Elders were able to revive the Jandai Language. MMEIC will launch the first edition of the Jandai Language Dictionary, on the 12th November, 2011.

Please come and join us on this special occasion.
