Welcome
The Minjerribah and Moorgumpin Elders In Council Aboriginal corporation is a legally
incorporated community based organisation.
The Corporation was first formed in 1993 and has fully maintained the conditions of its
incorporation since that time. It is governed by an annually elected Board of Directors of
10 persons led by an Executive consisting of a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary
and Treasurer.
The current Chairperson of the Corporation is (Aunty) Margaret Iselin who has held this office since 1994.
The Elders and members of The Minjerribah Moorgumpin Elders-in-Council Aboriginal
Corporation created the organisation as a vehicle for preserving, recording, communicating and teaching all persons, particularly the young, about the language and culture of Minjerribah and Moorgumpin.
